【TOEIC多益單字加油站】相似字篇--resume、restore、restrain、restrict、refrain
今天戴爾美語多益老師來推薦一組很常出現的多益相似單字--resume、restore、
restrain、restrict、refrain。這些英文單字皆是“re”開頭，依照其英文意思分成兩
組，分別是 (1)resume與 restore ；(2) restrict、restrain與 refrain。其意思一樣，
但用法卻有些不同。今天就來學學這中間的差異性吧！

《TOEIC多益單字加油站》相似字篇--adapt、adept、adopt
多益很常考的單字題型裡，有一種選項組合是四個英文單字都長得很像，我們就把它稱為“相似字考題”。今天戴爾美語多益老師來推薦一組很常出現的多益相似單字！
1. adapt (v.)
(1) 使適應：adapt (oneself) to N/Ving
例：It took the new employee approximately three months to adapt to the
new environment.（這名新進員工花了將近三個月才適應新環境。）
(2) 改編
例：This best-selling novel is going to be adapted for television.
（這部暢銷小說即將被改編成電視劇。）
2. adept (adj.) 精通…的 + in/at
例：He is adept in/at art.（他精通藝術。）
例：Ben is an adept mechanic.（Ben是一位熟練的技師。）
3. adopt (vt.) 採用；領養
例：This approach has been widely adopted by many enterprises.
（這種方法被很多大企業廣泛採用。）
例：There are innumerable reasons to adopt a pet rather than buy one from
a pet store.（有數不盡的理由去領養寵物而取代從寵物店中購買。）
